Route du Rhum 2026 — live

Ask your questions about offshore racing

Add the connector once, then just ask in plain English.

Live standings from the official tracker, boat tracks drawn in the conversation, weather at the boat, the overnight briefing, a comparison with the previous edition, skipper records and the IMOCA class rule.

What it can do

Nineteen tools wired to the Geovoile trackers and to imoca.org.

  • Live racing

Standings, positions, speeds and gaps, updated from the race's official tracker.

  • The map

Boat tracks in their own colours, drawn in the conversation, with the wind field on request.

  • Weather

Wind, gusts, waves and current at the boat, plus the Météo Consult forecast over five days.

  • The briefing

What happened over twenty-four hours: leaders, biggest gains and losses, retirements, finishes.

  • The ghost boat

A skipper against the previous edition at the same elapsed time, in miles ahead or behind.

  • The IMOCA class

Skipper records, boat specifications, championship, ratified records, class rule and official documents.

Frequently asked questions

What is an MCP connector?

A small server you plug into your assistant to give it data it does not have. This one gives Claude and ChatGPT the standings, positions and weather of offshore races, which they read at the moment you ask.

Is it free?

Yes, the connector is free and asks for no authentication. On the ChatGPT side, custom connectors need a paid plan, which is OpenAI's constraint rather than ours.

Where does the data come from?

Standings, positions and tracks come from each race's official Geovoile tracker. Forecasts come from Météo Consult. Skipper records, boat specifications, the class rule, ratified records and official documents come from imoca.org.

Is this official?

No. It is an independent project, with no affiliation to the race organisers or to the IMOCA class. The data stays that of its sources, and every answer links back to where it came from.

Which races are covered?

The Route du Rhum 2026 live, its 2022 and 2018 editions, the Vendée Globe 2024-2025, the Transat Café L'Or 2025, The Transat 2024 and the New York Vendée 2024. Name the race in your question, or let it default to the Route du Rhum.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Add the connector once from a computer and it follows you into the mobile app on the same account.

What about going for real?

Following a race from a conversation is one thing. Getting on the boat is another.
